Amazon Inc.’s $25 million ‘last-mile’ delivery station in Pasco is poised to revolutionize delivery services in the Mid-Columbia region, creating over 100 jobs and improving logistics. 

On Tuesday, the Vigo County Redevelopment Commission revealed that Amazon is the company behind the project, which will add a new delivery center to the park.

INDIANAPOLIS – Ambrose Property Group announced today that several of its team members have been promoted to new positions within the organization.

Scott Sanders has been promoted to senior vice president, development and national build-to-suit market officer. In his four years at Ambrose, Sanders has been instrumental in the establishment of new national client relationships and in leading the execution of complex projects for leading e-commerce, logistics and consumer businesses. He has 19 years of industry experience, having previously spent 15 years with Duke Realty (NYSE: DRE), now Prologis (NYSE: PLD). With his promotion, Sanders will continue leading Ambrose’s national build-to-suit team, furthering existing client relationships and providing logistics and e-commerce real estate solutions for new national clients.

Cody Garrison has been promoted to director of development. Since joining Ambrose four years ago, Garrison has autonomously delivered successful projects for many of Ambrose’s more important clients. With 10 years of experience, he has developed new industrial facilities throughout the country, including e-commerce, industrial food grade, medical grade and speculative projects. In his new role, Garrison will provide leadership oversight to development team members in the execution of projects for national, build-to-suit clients.

India Newkirk has been promoted to director of accounting. With 17 years of industry experience, Newkirk has been instrumental in leading various initiatives for Ambrose while consistently providing excellent service. She previously spent 11 years with Duke Realty (NYSE: DRE), now Prologis (NYSE: PLD), in addition to spending time in the public accouting sector. In her new role, Newkirk will be responsible for all aspects of accounting for both Amrose and the company’s private equity funds.

M.J. Boddie has been promoted to engagement manager. With nine years of experience in event coordination and hospitality, including three years with Ambrose, Boddie works closely with both the marketing and talent and culture teams at Ambrose. In her new role, she will continue to lead internal and external events and client and culture initiatives.

Lauren Reinking has been promoted to development coordinator. Since joining Ambrose in 2022, Reinking has provided a high level of hospitality for Ambrose and office guests in addition to providing administrative support for the Ambrose development team. In her new role, she will focus on providing administrative support to the Ambrose development team.

David Dunbar and Noah Smith join Indianapolis-based industrial, logistics and e-commerce developer and investment manager

INDIANAPOLIS – Ambrose Property Group announced today that it has added David Dunbar as associate market officer and Noah Smith as capital markets associate.

In his role, Dunbar will work with Senior Vice President of Development Pat Walsh and Vice President of Development and Market Officer Stephen Lindley in supporting land acquisitions and leasing activity in the Midwest and Mountain West regions.

“The addition of David to the Ambrose development team will enable us to better serve clients within these markets and identify land opportunities for future investment,” Lindley said. “David brings considerable experience, and we are excited to have him on board.”

Dunbar comes to Ambrose from Pure Development where he spent three years as director of finance. In this role, he led underwriting, deal structuring and debt/equity transactions for build-to-suit and speculative industrial projects. Prior to Pure, Dunbar worked at Adams French Property as a real estate development and finance manager and BMO Harris as a commercial real estate analyst.

He earned a Bachelor of Science with high distinction in accounting and finance from Indiana University Kelley School of Business.

As capital markets associate, Smith will work within Ambrose’s capital markets team to support financial analysis, underwriting and investor relations. Smith joins Ambrose from Deloitte where he spent four years working in their audit and assurance practice.

Former Duke Realty executive joins Indianapolis-based industrial, logistics and e-commerce developer and investment manager

INDIANAPOLIS – Ambrose Property Group announced today that Joe Hawkins has joined its executive leadership team as senior vice president and general counsel.

“The addition of Joe as senior vice president and general counsel enhances Ambrose’s ability to provide comprehensive, industry-leading service to our tenant and investor partners,” said Grant Goldman, executive vice president of development. “His background in commercial real estate is invaluable, and we look forward to the leadership he will provide within Ambrose.”

As senior vice president and general counsel, Hawkins will provide direction on overall company strategy with a focus on legal, risk management and compliance practices. He will also collaborate closely with Ambrose’s outside legal partners, with emphasis on leasing, joint ventures and capital markets.

Hawkins joins Ambrose after nearly 12 years with Duke Realty (NYSE: DRE), where he held multiple roles, the most recent being senior vice president, legal – deputy general counsel. In this role, Hawkins oversaw legal activities related to development, leasing and asset management within the company’s critical West Coast markets, growing the portfolio from three million square feet to over 19 million square feet in just six years. During his career with Duke, he completed over $20 billion in transactions.

In October 2022, San Francisco-based industrial real estate giant Prologis, Inc. (NYSE: PLD), acquired Duke Realty; at which time, Hawkins joined CRG where he helped develop a national industrial acquisitions platform and served as senior vice president of portfolio management.

Prior to joining Duke Realty, Hawkins spent five years with Bingham McHale, LLP (now Dentons Bingham Greenebaum), where he focused on all aspects of real estate development, asset management and financing.

DENVER – Ambrose Property Group announced today the completion of DIA Logistics Park Building I, in addition to an expansion of the industrial park.

Building I is a 625,000-square-feet Class A industrial building and the first 40-foot clear height speculative industrial development in the Denver market. The building features 3,858 square feet of office space, 288 auto parking spaces (expandable to 667), 176 trailer parking spaces (expandable to 225), 92 dock doors, four drive-in doors and an 8-inch-thick unreinforced slab.

Building I is move-in ready and marks the first completed building in DIA Logistics Park.

DIA Logistics Park is a Class A industrial park now spread across 226 acres located within and adjacent to the Porteos development district following an expansion that added 108 acres of land to the park. It offers spaces available ranging from 61,000 to 1,028,000 square feet across its eight buildings.

In addition to the recent completion of Building I, the Building II site is pad ready and available for build-to-suit or user sales. The site can accommodate more than 1,000,000 square feet of space. Construction on Buildings III and IV is scheduled to begin in 2024. All buildings are seeking LEED certification.
