John T. Watson
John Watson’s extensive development resume was largely completed while serving as the development partner of Van Rooy Properties. Purchasing his first apartment building at the age of 24, John has acquired, rehabilitated and operated thousands of apartment units in Indiana, Wisconsin and Florida.
Since forming CORE Redevelopment in 2009, John has completed the rehabilitation of Senate Manor Apartments. Currently the company is under construction on Harding Street Lofts, a 126 unit renovation of the former J. Solotken Recycling warehouse. CORE has also been selected as the lead developer in the redevelopment of the former Bush Stadium property.
Matt Troyer
Matt Troyer counsels clients in numerous areas of corporate and real estate law. As corporate counsel, Matt routinely advises owners of, and executives within, privately held businesses on a wide range of matters and transactions. He has extensive experience in the many facets of corporate transactions, including pass-through entity formation and restructuring, joint venture structure and negotiation, acquisition and disposition of businesses, and merger and capital investment issues. For his clients in the real estate industry, he provides counsel relating to real estate transactions. His development experience includes condominium and multi-family projects, residential and commercial development, redevelopment and assemblage.
Darell E. “Gene” Zink, Jr.
Gene Zink is Chairman and CEO of Strategic Capital Partners, LLC, a privately-held real estate investment management firm. SCP is a money management firm representing state and corporate pension funds with approximately $1 billion in managed assets. SCP is also active in holistic urban redevelopment.
Prior to founding SCP, Gene spent 26 years with Duke Realty Corporation, a $10 billion real estate investment trust (DRE:NYSE) specializing in industrial, office and retail properties. After 1993, Gene served as CFO, executive vice president, and vice chairman of the company. Gene joined Duke Realty Corporation in 1982 after practicing law with Bose McKinney & Evans, where he was a partner. Before he began practicing law, Gene was a Captain in the United States Air Force.
George P Sweet
George P. Sweet is the president of Brenwick Development Company, Inc, a diversified investment and development firm with a focus in residential subdivisions. Brenwick has developed, or is in the process of developing, in excess of 6,000 lots. Currently, the firm has several primary projects under development with housing price ranges from $350,000 to in excess of $2 million. These developments are in the Carmel, Zionsville, and Noblesville communities located north of Indianapolis and include The Village of West_Clay.
George has chaired or served on the Board of Directors of numerous major community organizations in Indianapolis and Hamilton County.
